In the Childbirth and Children’s Centre, the Registered Nurse will join a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to enhancing the postpartum experience for patients and families. You will utilize your communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills to ensure excellent care for antepartum patients and their newborns. This role demands a commitment to high standards and collaborative teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care in the Postpartum unit

• Conduct thorough physical assessments of new mothers and infants

• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Educate families on postpartum care and breastfeeding

Requirements:

• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses

• 2 years of experience in Postpartum care

• Current BLS and NRP certifications required

• Evidence of ongoing professional development

• Strong communication and organizational skills
