Postpartum Registered Nurse

Position: Postpartum Registered Nurse Oak Valley Health
Enhance postpartum care at Oak Valley Health as a Registered Nurse in the Childbirth and Children’s Centre. This role focuses on patient-centered care and teamwork, requiring excellent critical thinking skills and empathetic communication.

As a Registered Nurse, you'll work with families and newborns, promoting holistic health. With two years of independent experience, you’ll provide comprehensive care for postpartum patients.

Your role will involve ensuring the needs of the families are prioritized while collaborating closely with the health care team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional care to postpartum patients and newborns

• Collaborate with interprofessional teams for best outcomes

• Provide education on breastfeeding and infant care

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses

• BScN preferred or working toward it

• 2 years postpartum nursing experience

• NRP certification mandatory

• Current BLS certification
