Registered Nurse in Surgical Services

Join Oak Valley Health as a Registered Nurse in the Surgical System team, focusing on outpatient care and endoscopic procedures. Deliver high-quality nursing care within a collaborative environment.

We seek an RN with strong patient-centered values for our Outpatient Procedure Suite and Day Surgery Department. You will manage pre-operative and post-operative care for adult and pediatric patients while participating in endoscopic and minor surgical procedures. This is an opportunity to enhance patient safety and advocacy while working with a dedicated interprofessional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in outpatient settings

• Manage admission and recovery of surgical patients

• Assist with endoscopy and minor surgical procedures

• Foster patient safety and advocacy throughout care

• Collaborate with interprofessional care teams

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with an Ontario Certificate of Registration

• 1-2 years of PACU experience required

• Minimum 2 years in endoscopy environment

• Current BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications necessary

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
