This temporary role involves working closely with the Director of Care, developing and implementing comprehensive care plans. As an RPN, you'll oversee nursing activities, ensure adherence to established protocols, and provide essential training for nursing staff.
Your role is crucial in maintaining high standards of resident care and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement physician orders and monitor resident health
• Develop, review, and evaluate patient care plans
• Coordinate restorative and palliative care programming
• Supervise and mentor personal care staff
• Maintain compliance with nursing regulations and standards
Requirements:
• Certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• Registration or eligibility for registration with the RPN Association
• First Aid and Basic Life Support credentials
• Strong understanding of nursing practices and infection control
• Excellent communication and team-oriented skills
