Registered Practical Nurse Resource Team
Deliver comprehensive patient care as a Registered Practical Nurse with Oak Valley Health’s Resource Team across hospital clinical areas and RCC. Use clinical expertise, prioritization, and communication skills.
This Registered Practical Nurse joins the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team, supporting patients at Markham Stouffville Hospital, Uxbridge Hospital, and the Reactivation Care Centre. The work includes admitted Emergency Department patients and requires clinical leadership, analytical thinking, delegation, and problem solving. You will develop patient care and education plans reflecting ongoing assessment and patient goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care across hospital clinical areas
- Support admitted patients within the Emergency Department
- Develop comprehensive patient care and education plans
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team
- Support Oak Valley Health sites, including RCC
- Minimum two years recent acute medicine nursing experience
- Recognized two year Registered Practical Nursing diploma
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- Current BCLS certification and advanced physical assessment skills
- Competence with injections, intravenous therapy, and IPAC practices
