Registered Practical Nurse Acute Care

Provide direct nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse in Parry Sound, supporting acute, transitional, and rehabilitation patients across all shifts.

West Parry Sound Health Centre seeks a regular part-time Registered Practical Nurse for its interdisciplinary team. The position serves patients within the College of Nurses of Ontario license scope while supporting professional nursing standards. Duties also include equipment and facility maintenance, cleaning, and assembly.

• Administer direct nursing care within licensed scope
• Maintain, clean, and assemble equipment and facilities
• Provide indirect patient care as required
• Work cooperatively with interdisciplinary health team members
• Maintain professional nursing practice standards

• Approved Registered Practical Nurse program completion
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate
• Medication administration, asepsis, catheterization, and IV training
• Experience using relevant nursing skills
• Healthcare computer applications and software knowledge
