Provide comprehensive patient care as a Registered Practical Nurse with Oak Valley Health’s Resource Team across hospital clinical areas. Use clinical expertise, leadership, and critical thinking.
This Registered Practical Nurse supports the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team across Oak Valley Health sites, including RCC. The position serves patients in any clinical area, including admitted Emergency Department patients. You will develop patient care and education plans reflecting ongoing assessments and patient goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care across hospital clinical areas
- Support patients admitted within the Emergency Department
- Develop comprehensive patient care plans
- Create patient education plans reflecting ongoing assessments
- Assist programs supporting and enhancing patient care
- Minimum two years recent acute medicine nursing experience
- Recognized two year Registered Practical Nursing diploma
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS certification and Advanced Physical Assessment Skill
- Competency in injections, intravenous therapy, IPAC, and outbreak protocols
