Float Team Registered Nurse

Apply clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse on Oak Valley Health’s Float Team, supporting patient care across hospital clinical areas. Work 12-hour days and nights, including weekends and statutory holidays.

This Registered Nurse joins the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team and provides comprehensive care for patients, including admitted Emergency Department patients. The work emphasizes professional practice, customer satisfaction, clinical leadership, and patient-centred care. You will support Markham Stouffville Hospital, Uxbridge Hospital, the Reactivation Care Centre, and supported long-term care homes.

• Provide comprehensive care across hospital clinical areas
• Develop patient care and education plans
• Assess patients according to individual goals
• Support interdisciplinary programs that enhance patient care
• Provide coverage across Oak Valley Health sites

• Current College of Nurses registration certificate
• Current BCLS and motivation to complete ACLS
• Minimum two years recent medical-surgical experience preferred
• Excellent physical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility across different healthcare organization units
