The Corporation of Norfolk County seeks a Registered Nurse for permanent part-time work at Norview Lodge. You will supervise resident care processes, maintain records, administer medications, and coordinate services with residents, physicians, families, and staff. This work supports safe, high-quality care and residents’ overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care
- Administer prescribed medications and required treatments
- Maintain confidential electronic and manual nursing records
- Teach, delegate, assign, and supervise resident care
- Oversee care standards and support emergency procedures
- Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and relevant legislation
- Management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle access
