Rezo Therapeutics is looking for a passionate Director of Medicinal Chemistry to spearhead the development of precision medicines. This position requires deep expertise in drug design and a collaborative spirit to advance projects through innovative compound optimization and strategy. You will play a pivotal role in expanding Rezo’s discovery capabilities while mentoring junior members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and select molecules for therapeutic efficacy
• Provide strategic leadership across multiple chemistry programs
• Collaborate with biology partners for hypothesis testing
• Oversee external teams for efficient compound development
• Present findings at project and departmental meetings
Requirements:
• PhD in Chemistry plus 7+ years industry experience
• Proven track record in medicinal chemistry projects
• Strong knowledge in structure-based drug design
• Effective communicator and team collaborator
• Mentoring experience in a scientific setting
