Quality Assurance Manager

IPG Workforce Solutions is currently working with a growing and well established road construction organization seeking a QC Manager to oversee asphalt quality operations across both plant production and active construction projects.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with deep asphalt quality control experience who enjoys being hands on operationally while also leading teams, improving processes, and influencing overall product quality.

• Managing asphalt quality control across plants and paving projects
• Leading and mentoring Asphalt Lab Technicians and QC staff
• Reviewing asphalt test results, mix designs, and specifications
• Driving root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Supporting compliance, audits, SOPs, and quality systems
• Working closely with operations, production, and project teams
• Monitoring paving and construction quality against project specifications
• Handling customer quality concerns and technical discussions

• 5+ years of asphalt / road construction quality control experience
• Strong understanding of hot mix asphalt and paving operations
• Experience with asphalt plants, mix designs, and materials testing
• Leadership or team management experience
• Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related background preferred
