PSI / Final QC Inspector

Reports To:

Quality Team Lead

Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM / 4:15 PM – 12:15 AM

No of positions: 2

Rate: $17.60/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control inspections on electronic and mechanical products according to company quality procedures and workmanship standards (e.g. incoming, in-process, quality control inspections).
  • Read and follow detailed written instructions.
  • Complete necessary quality control documentation (e.g., collect and record inspection data as per inspection procedure).
  • Rework soldered electrical assemblies.
  • Sit and use magnifier lenses for most of shifts.
  • Provide feedback to team.
  • Assist in training of new inspectors as assigned.
  • Participate in team quality meetings and provide feedback on issues identified after troubleshooting.
  • Participate in training and certification programs to keep job knowledge and skill set updated.
  • Participate in all team‑level quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years electronic assembly and inspection experience; rework skills are a bonus.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Standards; knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies and IPC‑A‑610 Printed Circuit Board guidelines preferred.
  • Strong understanding and application of workmanship standards.
  • Thorough understanding and application of quality standards and control procedures.
  • Detail oriented, quality conscious, well organized, analytical, and reliable.
  • Comfortable speaking up when finding issues.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in written and oral English is essential.
  • Good quality close‑up vision.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to work well independently.
  • A positive team‑first attitude.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and perform different inspections according to business needs.
