Manager of Quality Assurance at GE

As the Manager of Quality Assurance, you will guide efforts in quality control, ensuring all products meet necessary performance standards. Your responsibilities will include directing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and developing compliance strategies with international management standards. You’ll also enhance processes through root cause analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee APQP and control plan development for product introductions

• Collaborate on PFMEAs and validation with design and manufacturing

• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO management standards

• Lead root cause analysis for internal and field quality concerns

• Implement reliability testing and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering

• 5–7 years experience in quality engineering environments

• Hands-on with APQP, SPC, and validation processes

• Understanding of ISO, UL, and CSA standards

• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred
