In this impactful position, you will engage with regulated parties to ensure they meet safety requirements under the Technical Standards and Safety Act. As a Fuels Inspector with around five years of experience, you will utilize your technical knowledge to issue guidance, conduct inspections, and manage compliance records essential for maintaining public health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections of fuel facilities and equipment
• Respond to incidents involving safety complaints and accidents
• Issue orders and provide compliance guidance
• Document inspection findings accurately in regulatory systems
• Engage industry stakeholders to promote safety awareness
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years in the gaseous fuels industry
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license for travel
• Actively pursuing Gas Technician (G2) certification
• Strong understanding of fuels codes and standards
• Excellent analytical skills for inspections and investigations
