Coordinate field quality in Thunder Bay using site inspection and plan interpretation skills. This full-time role follows a 14/14 work schedule.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Quality Coordinator monitors field work quality position covers work and material inspections, plan and specification interpretation, crew supervision, and unforeseen issue management. A Civil Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent relevant experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform quality control and site inspections of work and materials
- Interpret plans and specifications against project requirements
- Complete field follow-ups and provide technical recommendations
- Supervise and coordinate crews during work execution
- Identify site challenges and contribute to practical solutions
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent relevant experience
- Comfort reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Ability to assess field conditions accurately
- Ability to provide technical recommendations when needed
- Autonomy when managing unforeseen situations
