As a Field Supervisor, this pivotal role involves leading field technicians in detailed archaeological assessments and methodologies compliant with regulatory standards. You will take initiative in quality control and collaborate with industry experts while nurturing partnerships with Indigenous communities. Your leadership will be the backbone of our field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage archaeological fieldwork across Ontario
• Conduct assessments using approved methodologies
• Ensure compliance and quality control in projects
• Foster relationships with Indigenous groups for collaboration
• Work with senior advisors on innovative techniques
Requirements:
• BA/B.Sc. in archaeology or related discipline
• At least one year in a supervisory role
• Valid Research License from MCM
• Knowledge of ArcGIS and surveying tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
