Stantec is seeking an Archaeology Field Supervisor to join our Hamilton/Stoney Creek office for the upcoming field season starting March 2026. This position entails overseeing field technicians and conducting archaeological assessments while adhering to MCM standards.

Your role will significantly impact the protection and exploration of Ontario's cultural heritage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and lead archaeological field teams across Ontario

• Supervise assessments using various methodologies

• Ensure compliance with MCM standards during fieldwork

• Maintain high-quality control on data and field processes

• Foster collaborative relationships with Indigenous communities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in archaeology or related field

• Research Licence in good standing with MCM

• Minimum one year of field experience as Supervisor

• Proven skills in ArcGIS and archaeological methods

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
