Researcher Co-op in Robotics at Huawei

Huawei is looking for a co-op researcher who is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science or Robotics. You will assist in developing robotic systems that understand their environments and interact seamlessly with humans. The focus is on creating perception pipelines, utilizing sensors, and implementing AI-driven interaction models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design of AI-capable robotic systems

• Create perception pipelines for sensors and actions

• Build interactive feedback loops for proactive responses

• Work with ROS/ROS2 and simulation tools for prototypes

• Keep detailed documentation of processes and findings

Requirements:

• Currently a Bachelor’s student in a relevant program

• Basic proficiency in Python or C++

• Familiarity with sensors and actuators is a plus

• Interest in embodied AI and robotics

• Strong analytical skills and collaboration experience
