Purchasing Assistant

Position: Purchasing Assistant at Yami
Become a vital part of Yami’s merchandising team as a Purchasing Assistant. This role focuses on supporting product buying, maintaining listings, and ensuring compliance in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment.

Yami, founded in 2013, is dedicated to connecting people with authentic global flavors through an innovative e-commerce platform. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will support specialists with new product listings, maintain product costs, and handle purchase orders. Additionally, collaborating with warehouse operations and Accounts Payable teams will ensure smooth processes across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support product listing setup for the merchandising process

• Collaborate with warehouse operations to address receiving issues

• Handle RMA requests and issue vendor credit memos

• Work with Accounts Payable on invoice processing

• Ensure accuracy and compliance of product details

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

• 1+ years in a purchasing role preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
