Become a vital part of Pet Valu as a Sales Associate in Markham, Ontario. You'll interact directly with pet parents to help them find the right products for their furry friends.
As a Sales Associate, you'll combine your retail experience with a passion for pets. This position demands strong customer service abilities, basic knowledge of POS systems, and the readiness to manage physical tasks, including stocking merchandise and maintaining store cleanliness. Schedule flexibility may involve evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored assistance to customers for various pet needs
• Handle cash and document sales transactions accurately
• Prepare merchandise for display while managing paperwork
• Conduct cleaning and basic maintenance duties
• Support delivery processes by assisting with stock unloading
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in retail or service roles
• Proficient in using POS systems
• Friendly personality with customer-centric skills
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transport for adherence to scheduling
