Support Walmart shoppers through food and consumables service, stock rotation, and accurate product presentation in Renfrew, Ontario. Maintain department standards across daily store tasks.
As a Food and Consumables Associate, you will maintain and zone the department while assisting with stocking and goods sales. The work centers on exemplary customer service and Walmart’s basic beliefs and values. You will also follow requirements for food handling, cold chain compliance, pricing, and product rotation.
Key Responsibilities:- Zone shelves, tables, and bunkers with products correctly located
- Rotate stock and check products for expiration
- Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced
- Record temperatures and calibrate thermometers according to standards
- Follow ordering, clearance, markup, markdown, and labeling procedures
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to provide exemplary customer service
- Ability to follow food handling and cold chain standards
- Ability to follow product rotation and date procedures
- Ability to follow signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling procedures
