As a Deli Bakery Associate, you take customer orders and prepare hot food, rotisserie chicken, side dishes, and bakery merchandise. You follow thawing and baking guidelines for bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls. The work also includes stocking, zoning, pricing, and product rotation.
Key Responsibilities:- Take deli merchandise orders and provide requested assistance
- Prepare chicken using the rotisserie oven
- Fill prepared side dishes for display placement
- Thaw and bake bakery merchandise according to guidelines
- Assist with stocking and selling department goods
- Be at least 16 years old
- Handle food according to established standards and policies
- Follow cold chain compliance requirements
- Check sell-by dates and expired products
- Ensure merchandise is correctly signed and priced
