Roots Apparel Customer Service Associate

Roots seeks a Sales Associate with retail customer service and relationship-building skills to create loyal customers through exceptional store experiences.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this Sales Associate promotes Roots values through customer-focused service and relationship development. The position requires retail experience, preferably apparel, plus knowledge of cash handling, merchandise presentation, and store standards. Strong presentation and customer understanding support success.

• Provide exceptional service with a customer comes first attitude
• Build and maintain customer loyalty through lasting relationships
• Resolve customer issues positively and promptly at store level
• Complete POS transactions, shipments, replenishment, and price markdowns
• Maintain fitting rooms, housekeeping, displays, and visual standards

• Retail experience, preferably within apparel
• Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships
• Understanding of cash handling and merchandise presentation
• Excellent presentation skills in retail environments
• Self-starter with good judgment and a friendly attitude
