Deliver accurate checkout service as a part time Front End Cashier at The Home Depot, using cash handling and customer focus.
Front-end associates direct customers to open registers and support assisted check-outs throughout the store. You will process transactions accurately and promptly through the GET checkout process. The work centers on effective communication, interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and helpful service.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers, engage during transactions, and thank them
- Direct customers to open registers and assisted check-outs
- Recommend products, services, Credit, and Tool Rental
- Minimize checkout wait times and acknowledge waiting customers
- Follow safety, loss prevention, and shrink mitigation procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years retail or cash experience an asset
- Effective communication and customer focus
- Interpersonal skills and cash handling ability
- Availability for flexible evening and weekend schedules
Support The Home Depot customers with accurate transactions, helpful recommendations, and attentive front-end service during every visit.
