B2B Sales Representative - Lead Generator
Location:
Markham, Ontario, Canada (in-office; 12pm-8pm, Monday through Friday)
Job Type: Full-time
Work environment:
In-office, Monday through Friday, 12pm-8pm, to support West Coast customer base.
The key responsibilities and how you will make an impact:
- Proactively cold‑call all prospects and identify qualified leads; acquire information regarding their needs and insight into their buying behaviours.
- Follow‑up with existing or sourced leads, nurture relationships, and develop sales opportunities via calls, email, and social media platforms.
- Screen inbound leads from sources such as website, email inquiries, and direct phone calls.
- Manage prospect and quality leads lists.
- Update CRM data by keeping accurate records and details of new leads.
- Provide regular reports to management and make recommendations on improvements to prospecting and growing qualified leads.
- Achieve monthly quotas for closed business.
You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- Experience in high‑volume cold‑calling, prospecting, appointment setting, and nurturing customer success.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to craft attractive emails that pique prospect interest and result in new business.
- Strong project and process management skills to develop and continuously improve call scripts and take customer notes.
- A high level of professionalism to understand customer issues and identify an appropriate resolution or response.
- CRM and technical skills to enter data and update notes and lookup client information in databases.
- Ability to manage calls and email efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets, respect deadlines and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative in how they get the leads, think outside the box.
- Independent and a self‑starter.
- Strong initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Organized, motivated, and focused.
- Experience in sales of any kind is an asset; we are looking for a hunter!
