Markham Security Guard

Position: Markham Security Guard Role Available
Join Securitas Canada as a Security Guard at a leading telecommunications client in Markham, ON. This role focuses on securing the premises and engaging with visitors during weekend shifts.

As a Security Guard, you will need a valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR Certification. Responsibilities include performing foot patrols, responding to medical emergencies, and following access control procedures. A strong command of security protocols and excellent communication will enhance the safety and service you provide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage access control for personnel and guests

• Assist medical teams in emergencies as required

• Respond to and manage medical incidents effectively

• Perform ongoing patrols of the site and report activities

• Briefly document all shift events in an Activity Report

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License

• Minimum of two years in a security capacity

• Current First Aid and CPR Certification needed

• Familiarity with access control and CCTV systems

• Open availability to work weekend shifts
