Corporate Security Specialist

Position: Corporate Security Specialist at BGIS
Become part of the BGIS Corporate Security team as a Corporate Security Specialist, focusing on compliance and security management aligned with the Government of Canada’s Industrial Security Program. This role demands technical expertise and strong communication skills.

BGIS is seeking candidates to support security operations by managing site access requests and maintaining effective compliance with security policies. You will oversee access control systems and conduct audits to identify and resolve security issues, ensuring a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage employee and contractor site access requests

• Ensure access control and CCTV systems function effectively

• Serve as the main contact for physical security issues

• Conduct compliance reviews and audits regularly

• Support documentation for Vendor Security Compliance

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant field with 5 years’ experience

• Knowledge of security standards like ISO 27001

• Familiarity with C-Cure and Exacq systems

• Advanced Excel skills for data presentation

• CPP or PSP certification preferred
