Position: Nuclear Security Leader at GE Vernova
Become a Nuclear Security Leader for GE Vernova Hitachi in Canada. This challenging role focuses on regulatory compliance, security processes, and personnel safety at SMR facilities.

As a Nuclear Security Leader, you will oversee regulatory and corporate requirements for GVH facilities in Canada. You will evaluate security needs across U.S. and Canadian regulations and establish access control procedures in compliance with laws. Collaborate with engineers to enhance security frameworks and ensure all security clearances are obtained for the GVH Canada team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate U.S. and Canadian security requirements for equivalencies

• Establish access control procedures for GVH sites

• Develop frameworks for licensee and information security interface

• Oversee background checks and security clearances for personnel

• Serve as SPOC to ensure compliance with security standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of Nuclear Security experience

• Minimum 5 years nuclear security experience, 3 years in management

• Strong knowledge of security regulations and standards

• Eligible for Level II Security Clearance

• Ability to travel to the U.S. and conduct assessments
