Position: GE Vernova: Nuclear Security Management Role
Join GE Vernova Hitachi as a Nuclear Security Leader in Canada. Lead efforts in implementing stringent security protocols for small modular reactors.

This position demands an experienced Nuclear Security Leader to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate security standards at GVH facilities. In this role, you will assess security requirements, develop access control measures, and manage personnel security checks for the GVH Canada team. Collaborate with design engineers and serve as the primary contact for security compliance queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess security requirements to identify implementation needs

• Develop and establish security procedures for physical access

• Framework for interaction between licensees and security programs

• Manage background checks and security clearances effectively

• Act as SPOC for customer security compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Nuclear Security experience

• At least 5 years of nuclear security in a management role

• Extensive knowledge of relevant nuclear security regulations

• Must be eligible for Level II Security Clearance

• Willingness to travel for site visits and assessments
