Become a Security Guard with Commissionaires Great Lakes in Markham, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on access control, CCTV monitoring, and maintaining high security standards.
Commissionaires Great Lakes is seeking a dedicated Security Guard for a temporary position until July 2027. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid certification and will excel in customer service and administration. Your responsibilities will include ensuring property security, assisting clients and visitors, and performing regular patrols while demonstrating professionalism every shift.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure access control and secure client property
• Monitor CCTV systems for security breaches
• Complete shipping and receiving duties
• Provide assistance to clients and visitors
• Maintain daily logs and written reports
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License is mandatory
• Must hold a valid First Aid certification
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
• Experience in customer service or administrative roles
