Our Security Systems Technicians are the face of our company – as the person with whom our clients will meet the most. This is a hands‑on position involving installing, maintaining, and updating security system hardware on customer sites across the GTA, with daily office at our Markham office.

• Communicate effectively with customers, managing expectations
• Install low voltage cable for security cameras, card access systems, and alarm systems
• Terminate CAT5/6 cable with RJ45 and patch panel
• Mount and terminate access control panels (S2, Brivo, Avigilon)
• Mount and focus IP cameras (Axis, Avigilon)
• Mount and terminate alarm panels (DSC)
• Mount network racks and wall enclosures
• Install and terminate door strikes and card readers
• Read blueprints and drawings

• Valid full 'G' license
• Clean driving record/abstract
• Clear criminal record check
• Currently able to legally work in Canada

These additional certifications would make your application more competitive, but are not required:

• Ministry approved Working at Heights certification
• Boom/Scissor lift and/or bucket truck safety training
• Product knowledge certification/courses
• Completion of IPVM courses
• Education in Technologist or Electrical programs
