Support vulnerable youth as a Youth Worker with 360kids' HOPE Program. This role emphasizes mentoring, crisis support, and creating safe spaces for young individuals recovering from trafficking.
As a Youth Worker, you will deliver essential services to youth, focusing on their needs and fostering their strengths. Responsibilities include facilitating life skills training, providing crisis management, and advocating for youth within the community. Your involvement will play a crucial role in their journey towards stability, safety, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments to identify youth needs
• Facilitate life skills training and support initiatives
• Provide trauma-informed counselling and mentoring
• Handle youth emergencies and document resolutions
• Coordinate connections to community resources
Requirements:
• CYW Diploma/Degree or similar education
• Experience with youth affected by trauma is ideal
• TCI training or willingness to obtain it
• First aid/CPR certification and current background check
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
