Make a difference in the lives of youth with 360°kids! As a hands-on Youth Worker, you'll provide essential life skills support in a residential setting for ages 15-19 facing housing crises.
In this role, you will work closely with marginalized youth, providing one-on-one counselling and life skills mentorship. You’ll facilitate various programs aimed at promoting independence and well-being. With a focus on safety, you will also manage crisis situations and ensure a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a welcoming environment for youth
• Provide life skills training and support
• Facilitate regular programming for skill development
• Administer and monitor medication as required
• Advocate for youth and manage intake/discharge processes
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a related field
• Minimum three years working with at-risk youth
• Certification in First Aid/CPR
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract
• Ability to build relationships within the community
Support youth as they build life skills and gain independence at 360°kids.
