This role reports directly to the Director of Family Wellness. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field. Knowledge of First Nations Child and Family Services guidelines and alternative healing methods is essential. Candidates familiar with Kahkewistahaw First Nation's culture, traditions, and language will find this role enriching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support families and individuals in wellness initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Collaborate with the Director on program development
• Utilize holistic and traditional methods in support services
• Provide resources and referrals as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or similar field
• Knowledge of First Nations cultural practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Three current references and updated resume
• Current CPIC criminal records check
