As a Youth Addictions Counsellor, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on the treatment of youth. Your responsibilities include providing one-on-one counselling, leading group sessions, and ensuring the implementation of care and discharge plans. Collaborate with other professionals to combat substance use and foster resilience in your clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual counselling tailored to client needs

• Lead group discussions based on the Stages of Change approach

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions

• Ensure clients comply with safety guidelines

• Build supportive, ongoing relationships with youth

Requirements:

• Relevant Diploma or Degree required

• 1-3 years of experience in a related role

• Driver's license and reliable transport necessary

• Must have a clear criminal record check

• Knowledge of First Nations language is beneficial
