Activation Worker for Seniors Care

As an Activation Worker under the guidance of the Activation Manager, your role focuses on executing daily activation and social programs aimed at improving residents' lives in the long-term care home. Key qualifications include a diploma in recreation studies, experience in social services, and skills in facilitating therapeutic programs tailored for the elderly population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct daily recreational and social activities

• Facilitate therapeutic recreation programs for residents

• Develop creative programs within budget constraints

• Provide superb customer service to residents and families

• Maintain records and communicate effectively with team members

Requirements:

• Diploma in recreation and leisure studies or equivalent

• Experience in geriatric care or social services setting

• Current CPR and Food Handler Safety Certificates

• Computer literacy and ability to use Chinese word processing

• Satisfactory police vulnerable sector screen
