Work in a group home supporting children’s safety, health, and well-being while providing care within structured residential living. Travel is a requirement.
As a Residential Counsellor, you will support boys and girls experiencing difficulties with life position reports to the Direct Services Supervisor and promotes children’s best interests and protection. Experience raising a family, working with children, or participating in small remote communities is relevant.
Key Responsibilities:- Support boys and girls living in the group home
- Provide care in a structured residential setting
- Protect children and promote their best interests
- Attend to client safety, health, and well-being
- Report responsibilities to the Direct Services Supervisor
- Experience raising a family or working with children
- Community life experience in small remote communities
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Personal time management skills
- Travel required; relocation assistance is unavailable
