Backend Engineer - Golang & Cryptography

Become a driving force in Vault Cryptosec’s engineering team as a Backend Engineer specializing in cryptography and Golang. Work in a hybrid model to enhance our software's safety and reliability.

As an integral part of a high-performing team, you will lead various engineering projects focused on cryptographic functions like PKI and HSM.

Your role will involve end-to-end leadership, collaboration with internal and external teams, and mentoring fellow engineers to cultivate excellence in coding practices. Your contributions will ensure that Vault’s self-managed solutions are robust and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee engineering projects from architecture to implementation

• Collaborate across teams to fulfill customer needs

• Review and improve Golang code for adherence to best practices

• Communicate project statuses and risks proactively

• Support ongoing product reliability through on-call duties

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of engineering experience

• Expertise in Golang and cloud infrastructure

• Familiarity with cryptographic solutions

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• History of successful stakeholder engagement
