Position: Hybrid Software Developer at Portfolio+
Location: Whitchurch-Stouffville

Shape the future of finance with Portfolio+ as a temporary Software Developer. This hybrid role uses modern technologies to enhance financial solutions for Canadian customers.

In this 3-month contract role based in Stouffville, ON, you will report to the Manager of Software Engineering. You bring at least 5 years of software engineering experience using object-oriented languages like C#, Java, or Python. This position focuses on applying Agile and Dev Sec Ops  practices to ensure high-quality code and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, well-documented code with technical documentation

• Use Agile methods for sprint-based task delivery

• Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions

• Apply shift-left testing in CI/CD integration

• Mentor new team members on best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar

• 5+ years of experience in software development

• Proficiency with Agile and Dev Sec Ops  methodologies

• Knowledge of test automation and TDD

• Familiarity with tools like Git Hub, Jenkins, and Docker
