Join Huawei Canada as a Microgrid System Developer focused on energy management and control. This permanent role involves software design and implementation for cutting-edge smart grid technologies.
In the Smart Grid Technology Lab, you will design and maintain EMS software modules for substation control systems. Ideal candidates possess a strong background in electrical engineering or computer science, with at least three years of experience in microgrid development and related technologies. You will also work with advanced protocol stacks to ensure reliable control system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement EMS software for substation monitoring
• Develop embedded software for substation controllers
• Integrate protocol stacks into control systems
• Participate in EMS system architecture design
• Develop communication drivers and APIs for SCADA integration
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• 3+ years in microgrid or distributed energy system development
• Proficiency in RTOS, C/C++, and Linux
• Experience in firmware development for microcontrollers
• Familiarity with embedded networking protocols
