In this new position, you will join the Markham Engineering team and focus on designing and maintaining software for video routing and switching products.

Your role includes collaborating with other teams to define interfaces, reviewing hardware schematics, and ensuring robust performance of software components under real-time requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled individuals who thrive in Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded software for video products on Linux

• Interface between software and hardware teams

• Implement RTOS concepts in real-time applications

• Conduct board-level integration and troubleshooting

• Automate tasks with Bash scripting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or similar

• Proficient in C/C++ with embedded experience

• 2-5 years of hands-on development

• Command-line proficiency in Linux systems

• Experience using version control systems
