C​/C++ Embedded Software Engineer

Position: C/C++ Embedded Software Engineer Role
Qualcomm seeks a motivated C/C++ Embedded Software Engineer for real-time video applications on Snapdragon chipsets. This full-time opportunity is ideal for candidates with a passion for embedded development.

In this role, you'll develop software for Smart TV, Tablet, and Digital Media Adaptor products under Qualcomm’s Cellular Technologies group. Your primary focus will include working collaboratively with various teams, enhancing application functionality, and providing support for users. Strong communication skills and up to two years of experience in embedded development are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and validate video functions

• Create and optimize real-time applications for Snapdragon

• Engage with teams to address technical challenges

• Follow SW development processes and practices

• Support users with technical inquiries about applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science

• Up to 2 years of experience in embedded software

• Proficient in C/C++ programming languages

• Knowledge of embedded systems; ARM and Linux knowledge is a plus

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
