SpaceX is seeking a software engineer for its Starshield project, focused on enhancing national security through advanced satellite technology. You will be responsible for the entire software lifecycle, from development to testing, working on secure systems that operate both on the ground and in space. Your expertise and fresh ideas will drive innovation within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop secure command and control systems for satellites
• Design rapid software update distribution systems
• Iterate on high throughput networking systems
• Create monitoring and observability tools for operators
• Build development and testing tooling to enhance workflow
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in computer science or 2+ years software experience
• Proficient in C++ and Linux platform development
• Solid knowledge of computer architecture and networks
• Experience with containerization technologies
• Must be eligible for Top Secret Security Clearance
