Senior Developer Big Data Technologies

In this role within the Computing Data Application Acceleration Lab, you will analyze software requirements, contribute to innovative designs, and engage in development at a systems level. You will also present solutions in open-source meetings and generate valuable intellectual property from your research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and design software elements for systems

• Drive software development at the product or platform level

• Lead coding efforts for critical algorithms and cross-subsystem modules

• Present solutions at standard and open-source meetings

• Publish patents and collaborate with research institutions

Requirements:

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline

• 3+ years of professional experience with C++ or Rust

• 2+ years contributing to system design and architecture

• Strong knowledge of compilers, OS internals, and CPU performance

• Experience with big data frameworks like Apache Flink or Spark
