Senior Developer - Guidewire PolicyCenter

Lead impactful projects as a Senior Guidewire Policy Center Developer at Aviva Canada. Work with teams worldwide to create and implement critical solutions supporting Aviva's core policy lifecycle.

In this senior role, your Guidewire Policy Center expertise will drive compliance with best practices in software development and architecture. You will translate complex requirements into workable solutions, mentor junior developers, and manage integrations. Your contributions to the Guidewire Cloud transformation will be significant as you enhance system functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create architectural plans for software

• Write and deploy guidewire-based applications

• Conduct code reviews and mentoring sessions

• Collaborate with stakeholders for technical solutions

• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar

• 5+ years in Guidewire Policy Center development

• Strong coding skills in GOSU Language and APIs

• Experience in Agile methodologies and Git

• Knowledgeable in Property & Casualty Insurance
