Quality Engineering Internship at Aviva

Aviva is seeking two Quality Engineering Interns for an 8-month internship starting September 2026.

This role offers hands-on experience in software development and automation testing.

As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our engineering teams on impactful projects. Your responsibilities will include developing software applications, maintaining automated test frameworks, and troubleshooting software issues. Ideal candidates are enrolled in Computer Science or related fields, eager to learn, and display strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software and automated test frameworks

• Collaborate in code reviews with engineers

• Troubleshoot and debug software issues

• Build automation solutions for web and API testing

• Contribute to test documentation and defect triage

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program

• Foundational knowledge of Java and/or Python

• Familiarity with automation testing tools

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Eager to learn with attention to detail
