Position: Join Evertz as a Security Developer
Be a part of Evertz in Markham, Ontario, as a Security Software Developer, where you'll play a key role in advancing product security standards. Focus on CI/CD tools and the development of security frameworks.

The Security Software Developer will work with a dynamic team responsible for NDcPP compliance, using C/C++ and Python/Bash to implement necessary security measures. You’ll be tasked with monitoring vulnerabilities, patching systems, and ensuring network management protocols are secure and compliant. Your contribution will be essential for hardening Linux systems and participating in the documentation for security certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret NDcPP security requirements and development tasks

• Update software to meet evolving security needs

• Manage firewall and harden Linux systems

• Securely configure network management protocols

• Conduct periodic OS upgrades to maintain compliance

Requirements:

• Computer Science or Cybersecurity degree required

• 1–2 years experience in software development with C/C++

• Knowledge of TLS/SSL and security protocols

• Basic Linux security and firewall management knowledge

• Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
