As part of Pronto AI’s mission, your role focuses on building and maintaining robust control algorithms that facilitate the safety and efficiency of autonomous haul trucks. You will analyze system performance, debug issues, and harness your expertise in classical control theory and Python to create innovative solutions. Your collaboration with engineering and hardware teams will integrate various systems for optimal function.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement algorithms for autonomous vehicle control
• Build localization and state estimation systems
• Analyze and troubleshoot control system performance
• Collaborate with perception and planning engineers
• Optimize Python code for reliable system performance
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Robotics or Engineering disciplines
• Over 7 years of experience in software development
• Proficient in control theory, state estimation techniques
• Familiar with Python, localization algorithms, and kinematics
• Experience with CAN bus and robotics middleware
