AI Research Internship at Huawei

Huawei's Computing Data Application Acceleration Lab is looking for an intern to assist in pivotal AI research projects. You will engage in optimizing model architecture and improving efficiency through distributed training strategies. Ideal candidates will be enrolled in a graduate program in computer science or engineering and demonstrate a commitment to R&D in machine learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to foundation model optimization including LLMs

• Assist in building distributed training systems for AI

• Collaborate with teams to prototype and experiment with models

• Explore hardware-aware methods to enhance model performance

• Participate in benchmarking and analyzing model efficiency

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Engineering

• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Py Torch

• Interest in AI technologies and multimodal systems

• Hands-on GPU or AI accelerator experience preferred

• Demonstrated involvement in academic or open-source projects
