This role is inviting applications for a unique software engineering role within GM’s vehicle communication sector. As a part of your job, you will design and develop software in a Linux-based environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key factors include delivering robust solutions that improve user experience and system reliability while working from the Markham Elevation Centre three times weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Python scripts to aid software development workflows

• Assist in data handling and problem-solving tasks

• Enhance internal software tools for developer efficiency

• Validate and document testing results for software features

• Engage in design reviews and project planning with teams

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s program

• Eligible for 40 hours of work weekly

• Strong interest in software, user experience, and mechatronics

• Collaborative skills and effective communication on projects

• Experience in Python programming and AI tools desired
